About

I am a thirty-year resident of High Bridge, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Art Education from Kean University. Now retired, I was employed by the Union Township Board of Education (Union County, NJ) as a teacher of art on the secondary level. I was
also employed by Kean University as an adjunct instructor teaching basic and advanced drawing classes. One of the highlights of my teaching career was receiving the Geraldine R. Dodge Fellowship.

My work is primarily representational in scope. I tend to focus on still life, landscape and on occasion some works which depict humorous situations. The drawings and paintings are medium to large format and are produced in a variety of dry and wet media.
The majority of my professional career focused upon teaching art.

Now that I am away from the classroom this new phase in my life has given me the chance to refine my skills and expand my personal vision through my own art.
